Scaffold Master
Visual Scaffold Design and ScaffoldForge, together in your browser — build the scheme, see it drawn, check it against a typical working range. Everything is free to use; you are only charged when you export the design pack (£49.99 per design).
Configure and visualise as many schemes as you like. No account, no card.
ScaffoldForge checks your configuration against a typical working-range envelope — pass, warn or outside range.
Only pay when you want the outputs: an A3 schematic drawing and an A4 design sheet on your company branding.
When the scaffold is anything but standard
ScaffoldForge covers standard tube-and-fitting configurations inside a typical working range. Cantilevers, temporary roofs, bridging, sheeted schemes in exposure, public interfaces and refused schemes need a competent engineered design — which we also provide, as the engineer-reviewed level of Scaffold Design Master (from £599.99 + VAT).
Standards this toolset is written against
- Work at Height Regulations 2005
- BS 5975-1:2024 — temporary works management and control
- BS EN 12811-1:2003 — scaffold performance requirements and design basis
- BS EN 12810-1 — façade scaffolds of prefabricated components
Trade-association guidance is not referenced or reproduced. Published British and European standards only.
Scope & competence note
Scaffold Master output supports scheme understanding and standard configurations. It is indicative, is not a scaffold design, and does not replace formal appointment, competent design review, independent checking, statutory duties or project-specific approval under the project temporary works procedure. Configurations outside a typical working range need bespoke structural design. For use by competent persons under the Work at Height Regulations 2005 and BS 5975.
